Program Coordinator
Commonwealth of Kentucky's Office of Inspector General is responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. The Program Coordinator will coordinate activities for the Drug Enforcement and Professional Practices Branch, focusing on the implementation and administration of the Kentucky All Schedule Prescription Electronic Report (KASPER) and Ambulance Service Programs.

Responsibilities
Coordinates and supports activities of program staff, licensure boards, advisory boards and, or, service providers engaged in implementation and administration of program objectives
Prepares, reviews, processes and, or, recommends approval of EPCS waivers, KASPER account applications and other program implementation
Enters and tracks CS theft and loss reports and ambulance service complaints
Writes, edits, and coordinates development of promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, compliance letters, and, or, other programmatic documents, as appropriate to the program
Organizes, attends, and participates in program implementation meetings with internal and external partners
Facilitates communication and outreach to partners regarding implementation of program goals
Responds to programmatic inquiries from the general public, governmental officials, or other jurisdictions
Interprets statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures to program implementation staff, prescribes, licensure boards, general public, and other program stakeholders
Performs analysis of program support needs and recommends policy and procedural modifications
Reviews records and reports submitted by program recipients or agency staff for compliance with legal, regulatory or policy standards
Communicates procedural or program changes to program staff, contractors, recipients, and other stakeholders
Attends and coordinates professional meetings, civic meetings, or other meetings to gather or distribute program or technical information
Coordinates information sharing to ensure the use of best practices, methods, messaging, and guidance tools for stakeholder outreach and engagement
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
Three years of professional experience in management or administration
A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience
Administrative or business experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis
Preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds and in diverse settings
Ability to be flexible with work schedules, work assignments, and overtime needs
Excellent writing and speaking skills
Proficiency with use of computers, tablets, smart phones for daily tasks
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Prefer experience in creating and coordinating informational materials
