NEOGOV is seeking Seasonal Park Maintenance Workers to assist in maintaining county parks and management areas. The role involves performing general maintenance tasks, janitorial duties, and operating equipment as necessary.

Responsibilities

Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance at a specified location in order to perform assigned tasks
Assists in the performance of general maintenance work such as hauling garbage, cleaning toilets, cutting wood, building fences, roadwork, and other park maintenance
Performs janitorial duties in the shop and office
Washes and cleans vehicles
Operates tractors and trucks when necessary to carry out maintenance and development activities
Other duties may be assigned

Required

Must possess and maintain a valid Iowa driver's license and be insurable under county guidelines
High School Diploma or GED desirable
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain good public relations
Some knowledge in the operation of manual tools and equipment
