They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract and Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement process, ensure cost-effective purchasing, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services

Procurement Process : Execute the full procurement cycle from purchase requisition to order fulfillment, including creating purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any discrepancies

Negotiation : Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors and contractors to ensure the most favorable terms while maintaining quality standards

Cost Control : Monitor and analyze procurement costs, identify opportunities for cost savings, and work with internal stakeholders to implement strategies that optimize spending

Contract Compliance : Oversee contract package QA/QC and the client certification process, conducting thorough reviews after commission award to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness

Supplier Performance : Evaluate supplier performance on a regular basis and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and engineering, to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
