The ideal candidate will manage communications with stakeholders and contribute to improving scheduling methods and practices.

Responsibilities
Schedules and coordinates patient appointments requiring multiple resources and interdependencies. Communicates with all stakeholders including patients in the manner preferred by each (email, report, phone, etc.). Obtains medical records as needed from outside providers
Conducts "Prep" for clinic or department including the compilation of patient data and or documentation
Follows up on errors and offers contributions and suggestions to improve current methods
Contributes innovative ideas to improve work practices and flow
Trains and mentors new peers / team members
Qualification
Required
High school Diploma or equivalent required
A minimum of two (2) years of scheduling experience or prior medical experience as a scheduler in a hospital/clinic with complex scheduling algorithms is required
Excellent verbal communication, computer and organization skills are required
Preferred
Will have an Associate's degree
Has prior oncology related scheduling experience and scheduling experience at Moffitt
Associate's degree preferred
