The role involves supporting attorneys in various commercial and residential real estate transactions, ensuring timely and accurate closings while maintaining organized transaction files.

Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in all aspects of real estate transactions, including preparation of contracts of sale, closing documents, and related transaction materials
Review and analyze title reports and surveys and assist with title clearance issues
Prepare closing checklists and coordinate the collection, execution, and delivery of documents
Obtain payoff letters and assist with lien resolutions and post closing matters
Prepare and file ACRIS transfer tax documents and related closing filings
Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel to ensure timely and accurate closings
Maintain and organize transaction files and track critical deadlines
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a law firm or similar setting
Experience supporting commercial and/or residential real estate transactions
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions in a deadline driven environment
Professional communication skills and a collaborative, can do attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
