Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate remediation of data integrity issues

Collaborate with internal and external customers and providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of patient charts

Support all areas of HIM operations as needed

Oversee and/or monitor one or more HIM functions

Communicate directly with all hospital departments and staff to resolve medical record errors

Collaborate across multiple internal and external departments to ensure resolution of errors

Required

Strong Microsoft application skills

A drive to understand and troubleshoot, and a strong analytic mindset to deliver problem solving

Revenue Cycle and/or Healthcare EMR experience

A collaborative mentality and ability to interact across multiple teams

Ability to think outside the box to drive process improvement

Ability to multi-task and independently manage project demands in a dynamic environment

Minimum 2 years of experience within the HIM field, preferably in chart analysis

Preferred

RHIT or RHIA credential
