Responsibilities
Drive the use of sponsorship assets to support the strategic priorities of the business
Ensure sponsorship assets deliver maximum traction and value for clients across LAC
Manage the creative adaptation process of global property toolkits for the LAC region
Develop and delivery of tools and frameworks for sponsorship implementation across LAC markets
Oversee property asset allocation process across LAC
Manage property approvals and liaise with sponsorship management agencies
Oversee property budgets and forecasting
Coordinate development of the Visa Athletes Program within LAC, maximizing opportunities for Visa and client usage
Lead development of opportunities for FIFA Tier 2 events, including FIFA Club World Cup and FIFA Interactive eSports World Cup
Lead development of regional opportunities for sports, music, entertainment, and gastronomy
Supporting regional/local sponsorship marketing teams across music, entertainment, and gastronomy verticals
Work with global and regional teams on hospitality program development
Collaborate with Corporate Communications on staff engagement initiatives to bring global sponsorships to life internally
Liaise with global sponsorship teams and external partners for approvals and negotiations
Lead negotiations for new regional sponsorships and talent
Utilize agency resources as needed for property management and creative execution
Qualification
Required
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
10+ years of experience in leading strategy projects and partnerships at top-tier management consulting firms or in a corporate strategy group in a multinational environment
Pro-active and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to all levels and with ability to facilitate group discussions and debate
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and proven experience of project management
Strong planning, organization and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and execution skills
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be recognized as thought leader
Professional, confident and outgoing with the ability to maintain good communication with wide internal and external audiences
Team player possessing a strong drive to add value to the sponsorship's strategy
Flexible and can adapt to fast changing environments
Willingness to have flexible working hours requires frequent collaboration with Visa HQ and LAC sub-regions
Ability to present with impact in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus
Financial Services / FinTech / Payment industry experience would be a distinct advantage
Broad understanding / experience in financial services and / or payments a plus
