Responsibilities
Responsible for daily oversight of staff providing behavioral health support and interventions to 15 beds at Waverly Health and Rehabilitation Center
Provide and/or arrange training for Waverly Health and Rehabilitation Center
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and community partners
Work with Region 5 CSB’s and other CSBs to identify state hospital patients who will require nursing facilities at discharge
Attend monthly collaborative meetings to include DBHDS and the nursing partner to ensure project effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Minimum of bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Clinical knowledge of serious mental illness and human behavior particularly Alzheimer's and Dementia
At least three (3) years of clinical experience in a behavioral health facility or similar setting
One year experience in a senior clinician or higher supervisory role in a behavioral health setting and/or demonstrated leadership
Valid driver's license and acceptable DMV record
Availability of personal transportation for on-the-job use
Preferred
A master's degree in a Human Services field
