Oliver Wyman is a global leader in management consulting, and they are seeking a seasoned Director of Internal Communications to serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders across the Americas region. Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory: Partner with Americas regional leadership and practice heads to develop and implement comprehensive colleague communication and engagement strategies that support the firm’s strategic priorities and culture evolution
Communication Strategy and Leadership: Develop strategic internal communications approaches and oversee clear, compelling, and consistent communication of key messages related to firm strategy, culture, and change initiatives
Colleague Experience: Lead initiatives to continuously enhance the colleague experience, ensuring that engagement efforts are meaningful, measurable, and aligned with business outcomes
Values Embedding: Drive programs and communications that embed Oliver Wyman’s core values into everyday behaviors and decision-making across all levels of the organization
Change Management: Support leaders in managing change effectively by providing tools, insights, and communications that foster colleague buy-in and participation
Measurement & Insights: Establish metrics and feedback mechanisms to assess engagement levels and the impact of initiatives, using data to refine approaches and demonstrate value
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Human Capital, People Experience, and Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging teams and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and aligned communication and colleague engagement efforts
Leadership Presence: Represent the firm’s commitment to effective internal communications and colleague engagement at senior leadership forums and regional meetings, acting as a trusted advisor and influencer
Occasional travel within North America to support regional engagement activities and leadership meetings
Qualification
Required
15+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, marketing, colleague engagement, organizational development, or related fields, preferably within professional services or consulting firms
Demonstrated success working with senior-level executives as a strategic advisor
Strong expertise in designing and executing engagement strategies that drive cultural alignment and business results
Exceptional strategic communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver clear, persuasive messages to diverse audiences
Proven change management experience and the ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple locations
Data-driven mindset with experience using engagement metrics and insights to inform strategy
Collaborative, empathetic leadership style with strong influencing and stakeholder management capabilities
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
