Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Boomi environments (Atoms, Molecules, Clouds) and related platforms such as Solace and THRU
Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations to ensure data flows reliably and efficiently
Manage platform performance, apply updates and patches, and perform disaster recovery testing
Oversee security and access controls, including authentication, authorization, and certificate management
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business partners to optimize integration design and performance
Create and maintain documentation, audit logs, and performance reports
Plans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies
Researches and suggests new technologies to improve application performance
Provides technical expertise in developing architectural frameworks
Provides architectural support for application development, enhancement configuration, and migration
Maintains documentation for system architecture for reference purposes
Designs and develops new integrations as required
Serves as a recognized engineering expert and defines solution requirements based on industry trends and new technologies
Identifies, creates and tests prototypes and innovative systems related to solution engineering through internal knowledge, experience, and market insights
Qualification
Required
Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
PLUS five (5) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
Requires strong technical knowledge within a job area or system and basic knowledge across related technical areas

PLUS seven (7) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
Requires advanced in-depth level of technical knowledge within a job area and working knowledge of other technical areas

Technical Problem Solver: Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP), data formats (XML, JSON, CSV), and scripting (Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript)
Collaborative Partner: Works effectively across IT and business teams to align integration solutions with organizational goals
Security-Minded Professional: Ensures compliance and system integrity through strong authentication, access control, and documentation practices
Continuous Improver: Passionate about automation, performance tuning, and integration best practices
Preferred
5+ years of hands-on experience with Boomi platforms (Atoms, Molecules, Clouds), CAM, THRU, and Solace
Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems within cloud (AWS, Azure) or hybrid environments
Strong understanding of integration architecture, including APIs (REST/SOAP), data formats (XML, JSON), and CI/CD DevOps practices
Expertise in certificate management, renewals, and Identity Management Platforms (PING, Entra, B2C)
Experience collaborating with infrastructure teams on firewalls, F5s, Azure App Gateways, and Microsoft WAF
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Boomi Professional or Architect Certification preferred
Experience in the utility or energy industry a plus
