Inside Sales Representative
Haivision MCS is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support the company’s growth by managing inbound inquiries, qualifying sales leads, and assisting in the sales cycle for mission-critical video and communication solutions. This role involves building relationships with customers, identifying sales opportunities, and collaborating with the outside sales team to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new sales leads from events, lead-generation partners, general information requests, and inbound inquiry follow-up
Engage with potential and current customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and position Haivision MCS solutions appropriately
Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to assist with CRM issues, support traveling Outside Sales Team members, and tracking internal reports for pipeline velocity and health
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), including: logging customer interactions, updating account information, and managing sales activities
Develop a strong understanding of Haivision MCS products and solutions to effectively communicate value propositions and address common customer questions
Work with the marketing team to identify lead nurturing campaigns and provide feedback on campaign effectiveness and lead quality
Be able to represent Haivision MCS in a professional manner to both internal and external customers. Connections with both external vendors and internal Haivision departments is crucial to ensure that sales activities move smoothly
Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to the sales process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
0–3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or sales support, ideally within the technology, AV, or defense sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to prospecting and relationship-building
Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Interest or experience in technology solutions such as IP video, streaming media, or mission-critical communications is a plus
