Responsibilities
Develop and update technical drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D) to translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to clarify design specifications and ensure accuracy
Analyze design sketches and specifications to create precise technical layouts
Place and follow up on purchase orders for new tooling and equipment
Verify design drawings meet industry standards and project requirements
Perform physical measurements and create accurate layouts as needed
Support prototype and pilot build constructions with manufacturing tools and equipment
Qualification
Required
Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive/Truck industry preferred but not required)
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) for technical drawings
Experience with manufacturing processes such as line balancing, PFMEA, process mapping, and standard work
Hands-on experience with manufacturing tooling and equipment installation
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams
Advanced mathematical and analytical skills
Knowledge of MS Office for reporting and presentations
Ability to work OT/weekends as needed
Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
