Responsibilities
Architect & Build: Design scalable backend services and APIs that power a sophisticated, document-centric web application
Greenfield Innovation: Lead technical initiatives for a brand-new finance product targeting major financial institutions like BlackRock
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside a decorated ML team to productionize in-house trained models (not just off-the-shelf LLMs)
End-to-End Ownership: While backend-leaning (Python/SQL), you will own features end-to-end, contributing to a seamless React/TypeScript frontend
Qualification
Required
3+ Years' experience. 5-7 years of professional experience is the 'sweet spot,' though we are open to high-trajectory mid-level candidates from top CS programs
Expert-level Python skills and deep experience with database design/performance for data-intensive applications
A CS degree (or STEM) from a top-tier program
You are a humble, empathetic, and clear communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments but values a mature, collaborative culture
Preferred
Experience at a Tier 1 VC-backed startup or a FAANG-level company is highly preferred
