The Machine Operator will be responsible for the setup and operation of fabrication machines, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while working as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Set up and operate fabrication machines (Brake Press, Lasers, Drills, Saws) in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines
Understand blueprints to fabricate parts to blueprint specifications using the appropriate machine and process
Perform designated maintenance functions and assume ownership for quality
Participate in training and perform daily 5S activities
Work as a team and maintain all safety standards
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of basic shop math, ability to read a tap measure and utilize a protractor
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
Calculate tonnage for punching and sheering
Ability to identify various types and gauges of steel
Ability to operate overhead hoist
Preferred
1,000 hours of trade school
