They are offering a paid internship for students pursuing a career in Finance and/or Accounting, providing hands-on experience in financial processes and exposure to leadership at their Macon facility.

Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting with the financial close process to ensure a timely close, including but not limited to, preparation of month end journal entries and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Work with operations and maintenance to perform inventories
Ability to manage multiple projects, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Ensure accurate and timely reporting including analysis to support and identify opportunities and/or focus areas within the facility
Assist in establishing and monitoring internal controls to identify problem areas, determine actions required to improve operating program effectiveness, and ensure and maintain the integrity of financial and accounting information
Handle confidential information ethically, with integrity, and the highest degree of confidentiality
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Highly motivated Master/Bachelor student with emphasis on Finance/Accounting, Economics
An excellent command of spoken and written English
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills, detail orientation and interpersonal skills
Exposure to GAAP and ability to apply GPI Policies
