Business Analyst - Intergovernmental and Legislative Affairs (TS/SCI)

Global Science and Technology (GST) is seeking a Business Analyst to support the National Coordination Office for Space-Based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing. This role involves providing technical and programmatic support, developing content related to GPS activities, and assisting with event planning and documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop internal and external content on a wide variety of issues associated with GPS and NCO activities, to include but not limited to newsletters, presentations, memorandum, logs, reports, briefing papers, and guidance documentation
Document and provide updates on Congressional activities, with a focus on congressional leadership, GPS related hearings/legislation, annual appropriations (omnibus), the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), Continuing Resolutions, and government funding proposals. Updates shall cover the progress in each chamber. Also, document and track the status of new administration appointees, including confirmation proceedings and hearings
Assist with planning and executing domestic and international conferences, workshops, roundtables, meetings, and other events involving participants from government and the private sector. Also assist with agenda development and distribution, event announcements, registration, participant list management, communication of logistical information, and other logistical matters for NCO meetings
Attend or participate in relevant conferences as required by NCO and provide conference summaries when requested
Update and maintain NCO's electronic tracking tools of pending tasks
Assist with updating the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) curriculum document
Maintain and update the GPS.gov website

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution
Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in policy, program management, or a related technical field
Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) security clearance to effectively utilize best practices, engage with stakeholders across the Federal Government, participate in meetings, and address national security-related issues
Requires a thorough understanding of office operations within a GPS-centric environment and expertise in GPS technology and applications, comprehension of the legislative process, familiarity with STEM curriculum development incorporating GPS, and proficiency in website maintenance
Have proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications; the ability to work in a team setting with rapidly moving deadlines; have strong communication and interpersonal skills; and possess flexibility for occasional travel
