This internship will provide students with hands-on experience in designing electrical wiring harnesses and collaborating with physical architects to define harness routing channels.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing electrical wiring harnesses

Assist in determining harness layout through vehicle and branch points for multi-branch harnesses

Work directly in Capital Harness System software

Work with physical architects to define harness routing channels, space claims

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in an engineering discipline, Electrical or Computer Engineering is desired, from an accredited 4-year university or college

Attained at least a sophomore status based on university/college's class standing requirements at the start of the internship

Must be at least 18 years old

Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)

Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official college or university transcript from their school before their first day of employment

Must be able to complete a minimum of a full time, 3 month assignment

Preferred

GPA of 3.0 or higher

Ability to balance cost/schedule/technical priorities

Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams

Strong multi-tasking skills

Strong record keeping skills

Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
