Vanguard Charitable is seeking a UX/UI Designer to help simplify complex donor journeys and design seamless, intuitive experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prototype new concepts, conduct user research, and shape donor-facing digital touchpoints.

Responsibilities

Design UX/UI prototypes to explore, refine, and validate new product concepts
Run moderated and unmoderated usability tests, analyze user behaviors, identify pain points, and translate insights into actionable design improvements
Conduct user research to uncover insights and inform design decisions
Develop journey maps illustrating cross-organizational donor experiences
Create wireframes, flows, and interaction models that clarify system behavior across donor touchpoints and cross‑platform experiences
Apply WCAG and accessibility best practices across prototypes, designs, and workflows to ensure experiences are inclusive for all donor types
Create and maintain clear documentation for flows, patterns, research findings, and recommendations that support continuity across both organizations
Present research findings and design recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design work
Proficiency in Figma, Jira, and Confluence; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
Experience working within established design systems and brand guidelines
Ability to balance user needs with business goals using a strategic, system-thinking mindset
Strong communication and presentation skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership
