Motion Graphics Video Designer

The Motion Graphic Video Designer will transform complex ideas into engaging visual stories and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality videos and infographics.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to develop clear, compelling visual stories
Design and animate visual assets, including typography, for a range of motion graphics and video projects
Create storyboards and support script development to shape narrative and flow
Apply principles of design, animation, and color theory to bring concepts to life
Create infographics, charts, diagrams, and presentations to communicate both data-driven and abstract ideas
Develop clear information hierarchies and visual frameworks that enhance understanding and retention
Source, edit, and integrate audio elements (e.g., sound bites, music), and synchronize audio with motion graphics
Edit and integrate live-action video footage with animated elements to support motion graphics and storytelling needs
Edit, render, convert, and compress motion graphics for use across multiple formats, platforms, and channels
Work within established brand guidelines and visual systems while bringing creativity and craft to motion execution
Incorporate feedback from clients and internal partners to iteratively refine motion work
Manage project files, assets, and versioning to support efficient collaboration and smooth handoffs
Contribute to team motion graphics standards and best practices to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency
Stay current on motion design trends, tools, and techniques, applying them thoughtfully where appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Design, Film/Videography, Animation, Communications, or a related field
7–10 years of experience in graphic design or a related creative role
Strong skills in graphic design, illustration, and 2D/3D modeling and animation
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Audition)
Experience with Cinema 4D and Final Cut Pro
Deep expertise in information design, with a passion for visual storytelling and data-driven communication
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining precision and attention to detail
Proven ability to meet deadlines and adapt to evolving project needs
Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at guiding clients and teams toward clarity and actionable requirements
