Spencer Technologies is a global provider of field services and IT solutions. As a Reporting Analyst, you will work closely with leadership and stakeholders to develop and maintain custom reports, analyze data, and identify opportunities for technology and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, maintain, and support custom reports (SQL / MS Report Builder / Power BI / Excel) for both ad-hoc and ongoing needs

Develop methods for measuring the operational department performance (KPIs)

Gather, interpret, and analyze data from various sources

Help automate data and analytics solutions, build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale

Identify and define new technology & process improvement opportunities that optimize efficiency and data quality

Assist internal and external users in the operations and scheduling of reports

Participate in meetings with leadership and other stakeholders to explain reports, present findings (e.g., issues, opportunities, trends), and make recommendations (how to overcome inaccuracies and improve results)

Required

Strong knowledge of data visualization, graphs, and charts

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Working knowledge of Microsoft Reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS)

Three or more years of technology related on-the-job experience

Adept at SQL Queries, report writing and presenting findings

Strong knowledge of Microsoft products

Ability to work with a variety of different people to maintain effective working relationships. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written

Detail-oriented with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated by the work

Ability to perform multiple assignments and prioritize work to meet deadlines
