Strategic Account Manager – Controls
Carlo Gavazzi is a global leader in Industrial and Building Automation, delivering innovative solutions across sensors, controls, and energy management. They are seeking a Strategic Account Manager – Controls to drive new business growth across Energy Building Efficiency, Energy Management, EV infrastructure, Microgrids, and industrial electrical distribution in North America.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for key and prospective accounts
Drive adoption of new products through value-based, customer-specific solutions
Identify and capture new business opportunities using deep market and industry insight
Build executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
Translate Voice of Customer feedback into actionable input for Product Line Management
Manage pipeline, opportunities, and performance using CRM tools (IFS)
Represent Carlo Gavazzi at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
5+ years of experience in Energy Building Efficiency, Energy Storage, EV, or Distributed Energy Resources
Proven success in strategic account development and complex sales cycles
Strong understanding of industrial automation and control solutions
Experience managing regional or global strategic accounts
Data-driven, market-focused mindset with strong communication skills
Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
Willingness to travel within North America
