Mechanical Engineer – High Voltage Electromechanical
Sansar Tec is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support high-voltage electromechanical product development from concept through production. The role involves developing 3D models, leading mechanical design activities, and managing component design and supplier coordination.
Responsibilities
Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks)
Lead mechanical design and build activities during concept, prototype, validation, and production phases
Manage component design, development, and qualification with multiple suppliers ensuring quality, cost, and delivery alignment
Define technical interface requirements and specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Conduct on-site supplier visits to oversee manufacturing process validation and production readiness
Drive supplier accountability by resolving DFM/DFA issues and coordinating with testing teams to maintain schedules
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, and hands-on mechanical design validation
Generate and release part/assembly drawings and EBOMs into Agile PLM
Prepare engineering documentation including DFM/DFA, DFMEA, PFMEA, and work instructions
Independently manage mechanical projects end-to-end
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
6+ years of experience in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
3+ years of experience in High Voltage Electromechanical Design & Engineering
4+ years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks
Strong expertise in GD&T, tolerance stack-up, supplier coordination, and engineering documentation
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
