Responsibilities
Perform monthly economic-to-accounting P&L reconciliations
Account for commodity trading transactions, including purchases, sales, and related costs
Validate AR/AP balances for assigned trading desks and commodities
Ensure accuracy and consistency between trading systems and financial reporting
Partner with front, middle, and operations teams to resolve variances
Review balance sheet activity, cash movements, and working capital
Support quarter-end and year-end close, reporting, and audit processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong foundation in financial accounting
Understanding of commodity trading or complex transactional environments
Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability
Ability to independently research issues and communicate conclusions
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support and train others
Preferred
