Responsibilities
Evaluate the current Paycom setup to determine what is implemented, what's missing, and what needs optimization
Identify additional modules or features that should be added to fully leverage Paycom's capabilities
Assess the volume of paper-based processes and create a strategy and timeline for digitizing them
Ensure Paycom interfaces correctly with other systems (e.g., payroll and benefits)
Train staff on best practices, provide shortcuts, and ensure the system is user-friendly for day-to-day operations
Partner with Kristin to offload manual tasks while respecting her role and strengths
Maintain a "here to help" mindset-warm, approachable, and focused on partnership rather than replacement
Qualification
Required
Strong experience implementing and optimizing Paycom modules
Skilled at evaluating workflows and recommending efficiencies
Ability to plan and execute conversion of paper processes to digital systems
Comfortable working in a trust-based culture and partnering with existing staff
Able to educate and empower staff for long-term success after the engagement ends
This is a hands-on role where you'll assess, implement, train, and leave the organization fully equipped to manage Paycom internally
Preferred
They need to hire someone who knows Paycom and everything we can do with Paycom's capabilities
The person we place needs to be Warm and fuzzy
Would to intratester Paycom so it communicates with other business applications
Ensured previously implemented Paycom solutions are implemented, configured, and optimized correctly, including the performance of recently implemented modules
Troubleshoot and debug potential defensiveness with the Paycom platform
Collaborative Approach/Mindset: This role is here to start to get Paycom up and running so everyone can use it and make sure everyone is trained on it, specifically to create shortcuts & workflow that streamline and provide best practices for the solution
Support as a training resource for 75 employees, specifically on the adoption of Paycom and its values
Worked hard to build a culture built on trust- acknowledged and recognized for that work they do as well
Digitalize all hard copy documentation, including the creation of workflows of education diagrams for corporate users
Optimize manual Paycom documentation into digital files, diagrams, and workflows
