Responsibilities
Provide strategic counsel to clients on estate planning, asset protection, and trust structures
Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related instruments
Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and care, ensuring each interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional service
Oversee probate and trust administration matters from initiation through resolution
Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver holistic planning solutions
Stay current on developments in federal and Illinois estate and trust law to ensure accurate, up-to-date guidance
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Illinois
At least 5 years of experience in estate planning and trust law
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
A client-focused approach with a commitment to ethical and compassionate legal practice
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience with legal practice management software (such as Smokeball)
