Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, setup, and cleanup of laboratory equipment, tools, and materials
Performs basic laboratory tests and procedures under supervision
Collect, record, and report laboratory data accurately
Clean, sanitize, and maintain animal cages and housing areas to ensure proper care and welfare
Feed, monitor, and observe animals, reporting any signs of illness or abnormal behavior
Handle and dispose of laboratory specimens and materials in accordance with safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment
Manage lab inventory and supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed
Support faculty, researchers, or students during experiments or instructional activities
Operate lab equipment with increasing independence as proficiency develops

Required

Ability to lift at least 50lbs
