Responsibilities
Work with multiple teams to design, deploy, and support large scale containerized workload platforms in multiple global private cloud datacenters and public cloud providers and regions
Deliver highly secure and efficient solutions within comprehensive compliance regulations, including SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA, PCI, etc
Integrate diverse technologies in multiple environments to provide monitoring, alerting, and reporting of performance and costs
Support software development teams with onboarding and using container-based solutions at scale
Work in an agile operations framework, balancing sprint-based work with daily operational needs
Troubleshoot and resolve system outages or performance impact, and communicate findings for ongoing improvement
Participate in an on-call rotation to handle escalated issues
Work with third-party vendors to recommend solutions and drive performance and cost efficiency
Qualification
Required
2 plus years of experience managing environments inside of the Public Cloud, Azure and AWS preferred
3 plus years of experience with Linux, including large scale OS deployment and automation
3 plus years software engineering experience, including multiple development languages. Python, Go preferred
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes operations, including deployment strategies, upgrades, cluster security, troubleshooting, and cloud-native networking, storage solutions, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Familiarity with software version control systems and release management, preferably Git
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices for continuous deployment and infrastructure management
Demonstrated knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements relevant to cloud-native infrastructure
Exposure to basic AI technologies and frameworks, such as using AI-based monitoring tools or integrating machine learning models for predictive analytics within the infrastructure stack
Experience with both public and private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare) and hybrid cloud architectures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders
Analytical problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset to keep pace with evolving cloud and AI technologies
Passionate about designing and supporting complex IT systems while managing day-to-day infrastructure operations
Eager to learn, receptive to guidance, and able to recognize opportunities for further growth
Ability to work hard within a small, customer-focused team and collaborate across cross-functional groups of developers and operations
Effective time management ensuring commitments are communicated and met
Proven ability to turn design, compliance, and support references/content into documentation, presentations, and training materials
Degree in Computer Science or related field
