They are seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the development of safety-critical electrical subsystems for their elevator product portfolio, focusing on system-level architecture and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

Lead the systemlevel development of electrical monitoring and safety subsystems, from concept through validated prototype and production readiness

Define functional requirements, system architecture, interfaces, thresholds, and failure modes for electrical systems and subsystems

Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional block diagrams, interface definitions, and installation schematics

Own test planning and validation, including defining test requirements, coordinating supplierexecuted testing, reviewing results, and authoring test reports

Support thirdparty certification efforts and compliance activities in accordance with ASME A17.1, ASME A17.5, and applicable electrical codes and standards

Serve as the primary technical interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners, ensuring solutions are technically sound, costeffective, and manufacturable

Support daytoday engineering needs related to traction machines, beltdriven systems, motors, and VFDbased equipment

Participate in technical risk assessment activities, including patent awareness, cost evaluation, and supplier capability reviews
