Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals, growth plans, and operational needs
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, and employee relations
Build scalable HR policies, processes, and systems to support continued expansion
Oversee full-cycle recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies
Partner with leadership to identify talent needs, succession planning, and leadership development opportunities
Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, coaching, and feedback
Foster a positive, inclusive, high-performance, and safety-focused workplace culture
Address employee relations issues with professionalism, consistency, discretion, and fairness
Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, communication, morale, and retention
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Oversee aviation-related HR compliance, including DOT and FAA considerations for safety-sensitive roles
Manage investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed
Maintain employee policies, handbooks, and HR documentation in alignment with regulatory and industry standards
Oversee compensation structures, benefits programs, and payroll coordination
Analyze market trends to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices
Lead HRIS optimization, data integrity, reporting, process improvement, and vendor relationships
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team
Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and professional development plans

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally including leadership at the director level
Experience supporting organizations with 250+ employees
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
Proven ability to operate in a regulated, safety-sensitive, or operational environment
Experience working onsite in service-driven, aviation, transportation, manufacturing, or similar settings
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and judgment

Preferred

Master's degree or HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar)
Aviation, aerospace, transportation, or manufacturing HR experience
Experience supporting DOT/FAA-regulated roles
Experience scaling HR infrastructure during periods of rapid growth
HRIS implementation or optimization experience
