Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders when required
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal policies
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Being at least 21 years of age is preferred
Primarily driving post is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
CPR certification is preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
