Responsibilities

Lead and support financial due diligence (QoE) for deals from $10M to $400M EV
Work on various strategies and deal types, from small add-ons to public company acquisitions
Work alongside internal and external PE deal teams on LBOs, operational models, and purchase agreement support
Serve as interim finance leadership (e.g., Assistant Controller, FP&A lead) during integrations, standups, and standalone CFO Services engagements
Contribute to strategic and operational portco projects, including dashboarding, process improvement, and post-close execution
Gain exposure to tax diligence, purchase accounting, post-close reconciliations, and more
Help deliver strategy and operations consulting engagements
Analyze historical and projected financial performance, including revenue, margins, EBITDA normalization, and KPIs
Conduct detailed reviews of working capital trends, seasonality, and peg setting
Identify and quantify debt-like items, off-balance sheet exposures, and one-time adjustments
Evaluate customer/vendor concentration, revenue recognition policies, and cost structures
Lead and participate in management meetings and client presentations
Draft and contribute to client-ready FDD reports and deal memos that synthesize financial and strategic insights
Collaborate with legal counsel on SPA and schedules; provide input for earnouts, holdbacks, and TSAs
Build or review LBO models and valuation bridges to support client negotiations and IC materials
Participate in post-close activities, including opening balance sheet setup, ASC 805 entries, and reporting processes
Support business development by contributing to pitch materials, proposals, and relationship nurturing
Contribute to internal development of templates, knowledge bases, and process improvements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in financial diligence, audit, FP&A, or PE portfolio operations
Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, financial statements, and M&A accounting principles
Familiarity with PE-style diligence, EBITDA bridges, and transaction structuring
Experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle
Proficient in Excel
Comfortable managing ambiguity and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and writing skills; able to communicate clearly with clients and team members
Global mindset and flexibility to collaborate with teams across time zones (US, Asia, LatAm)

Preferred

CPA, CA, or CFA preferred or in progress
Power BI or Alteryx experience is a plus
