This summer, they are looking for a Facilities Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist with daily engineering tasks and collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Assist Engineering Team with cost reductions, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD

Support the documentation for new designs, including AutoCAD drawings, Word, Excel, etc

Support with writing Scope of Work (SOW) for new manufacturing processes and facility upgrades

Assist and oversee the upgrades of the facility and utilities

Monitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projects

Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team

Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities

Develop and maintain process documentation within our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), including Work Instructions and Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PM)

Make recommendations on cost improvement and reduction programs

Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
