Responsibilities

Perform testing on technical solutions to identify, isolate, and resolve issues

Initiate tests, analyze results, and document findings

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios

Support Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts

Maintain SDLC traceability from requirements through test cases and system components

Design and execute user interface testing and regression testing

Test applications for reliability, stability, and usability

Implement testing programs, including negative testing

Design and/or execute automated test scripts and support deployment

Participate in defect triage, retesting, and resolution activities

Create and maintain QA documentation, metrics, and reports

Adhere to established testing governance, standards, and best practices

Recommend continuous improvements to QA processes

Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections per governance standards

Communicate testing status, open issues, risks, and gaps to development teams and stakeholders
