Demonstrate leadership by being a self-starter and setting examples of high professionalism, job excellence and adapting to change
Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding corporate information and strategies
Maintain professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete responsibilities; enhance job knowledge and abilities to take personal responsibility for professional development and training
Perform responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy
Provide accurate input into the budget process and contribute to meet the actual targets
Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company
Perform economic analysis in a fast-paced environment
Capture market opportunities based on real-time positions and analysis of market conditions
Conduct real-time trading for the purchases and sales of energy and transmission
Communication of real-time market information to cash and term traders
Ability to build relationships with market participants
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience
At least 5 years of trading and risk management experience in natural gas market
Knowledge of the producers, marketers and utilities that transaction in gas markets
Established contacts in the natural gas market
Knowledge of gas markets and experience transacting in these markets
Experience using physical and financial products to hedge risk
High level of skill with Excel, VBA, PowerPoint and Access
Ability to perform in a changing environment under pressure
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of risk management tools
Knowledge of NYMEX options and general knowledge of energy derivatives
