Responsibilities
Develop Java APIs using Spring Boot
Integrate a Spring Boot application with external APIs from third parties
Collaborate with the database team to map models to PostgreSQL tables
Work with the infrastructure team to deploy codebase to webservers
Promote new or improved development practices to enhance craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability
Demonstrate new features and functionality to the customer
Write and execute unit tests for new and existing Java code
Provide documentation and assist with deliverables related to backend functionality and user workflows
Help create user stories and features for current and future work
Support frontend team during integration with backend REST API calls
Contribute to analysis efforts, identification, and recommendation of solutions, integration points, and implementation architecture for business usage improvements, scalability, and performance
Provide guidance to less experienced developers and administrators through code reviews, solution design, and training/development recommendations
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI W/ CI Polygraph (existing clearance required to start)
7 to 10 years of relevant experience
Team Delivery Mentality
Experience with: Angular 15
Experience with: Git/GitLab
Experience with: Bootstrap
Experience with: Angular Material
Experience with: Cypress
Knowledge of JIRA and/or Confluence
Preferred
Scrum, SaFE, and Kanban experience
BA/BS degree or higher
AWS experience and/or knowledge
Apache PDFBox
Junit
Integration of Data Analytics Dashboard Tools
Integration of Data Governance and Management tools
AWS DevOps and/or AWS Certified Practitioner certification
