Robert Half is a long-standing non-profit organization with an incredible mission and several services. They are looking for a direct-hire Accounts Receivable Accountant responsible for managing billing, reconciliations, and collections to ensure proper financial operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare Fee for Service billing and general ledger entries on a weekly basis

Perform reconciliation with the accounting system for FFS billing

Record accounts receivable journal entries

Assemble and submit all journal entries and supporting documentation for review and posting as well as adjusting entries

Assist Finance team members with reconciling cash applications to invoices created

Generate and review consumer invoices on a monthly, weekly and tri-annual basis prior to distribution to consumers for payment

Have primary responsibility for necessary collection efforts prior to classes starting to ensure payment

Coordinate with program directors/staff to ensure proper billing, compliance, and collection

Apply credit memos

Conduct payment analysis, follow up, and resolution of open invoices on a monthly basis

Perform bank reconciliations for several agency bank accounts

Analyze Balance Sheet accounts as assigned

Participate in Budget preparation

Required

5+ years of experience with billing and general ledger activities

1+ years of experience in healthcare, non-profit with medical services or long-term care industries

Preferred

Prior exposure with MIP, Blackbaud or another non-profit ERP is preferred
