ACCOUNT DIRECTOR - INFLUENCER & VIP

CGC NYC is looking for a dynamic Account Director supporting the Influencer & VIP side of the business, responsible for cultivating influencer marketing experience and driving sales for clients.

Responsibilities
This role supports the US communications team in implementing influencer marketing strategies for CCG NYC brands
All brands have a strong focus on digital and social communications to drive brand awareness and visibility. This role will also help support local implementation of strategies and to harness the power of social & digital media to facilitate and inspire connections and engagement between the brands and their target audiences
Cultivate and maintain a deep network of relationships with VIP’s, stylists, talent agents, and top-tier influencers
Lead full-scale campaigns from ideation to final reporting, including contract negotiations, briefing, and budget management
Build and maintain VIP seeding & gifting programmes for clients strategize and oversee targeted product gifting programs to ensure organic placements with high-profile individuals
Secure VIP attendance for brand events, red carpets, and fashion week activations
Use current knowledge of the influencer landscape to input relevant profiles into castings for paid and organic activations across the CGC portfolio
Research specific profiles to introduce new talent into the CGC roster, ensuring profiles meet brand objectives and reach the relevant audience demographic
Support in maintaining individual client influencer lists, ensuring consistent core seeding to new and relevant profiles
Share recommendations to support seasonal moments with influencers and ensure reactive seeding for relevant brands
Support in facilitating paid influencer projects across the CGC client portfolio, from sourcing profiles to negotiating costs, writing briefs and creating post campaign overviews
Contribute to strategic paid and organic content plans and creative ideas, building an understanding of clients and objectives across Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube
Be confident working with and advising on affiliate marketing and content amplification alongside client’s paid media teams
Show strong understanding of successes and learnings post-campaign, with an ability to effectively communicate this with clients
Support new business proposals alongside wider team, sharing creative ideas and concepts to elevate influencer strategy in a compelling way
Share social trends and insights with team to advise team on the current social landscape, keeping up to date with platform adaptations and changes
Support team to develop, present and implement social media strategy for clients, aligning with client marketing calendars and sharing new ideas, partnerships and concepts to elevate social channels
Compile monthly in depth reports on social analytics and results including successes and areas for improvement to ensure consistent follower growth
Grow and develop Tik Tok strategy across relevant clients
Support PR team to pull together digital strategies for new business, as well as seasonal briefs for existing clients social assets. Work with the production, studio and content teams to ensure these are executed to brief and delivered on deadline
Adapt social aesthetic and tone of voice in keeping with different client profiles
Proficient copywriting skills and can craft and shape a brand narrative for social
Advise on social media best practices and offer guidance and recommendations to share with wider internal team
Strong knowledge of paid social media marketing and how this can be implemented into organic social strategy
Qualification
Required
7-10+ years' experience in Influencer marketing/ digital media relations, ideally within the beauty / wellness / lifestyle sector
Strong understanding of the influencer ecosystem from macro to nano and emerging influencer tribes
A proven leader with a strong network to lead and manage the influencer team
Experience 7–10 years in agency, in house, influencer marketing, talent relations, or luxury PR
Strong network and proven, active 'black book' of contacts including major talent agents, managers, and publicists
Deep industry knowledge and understanding of the social landscape (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) and emerging cultural trends
Analytical skills and proficiency in tracking KPIs (reach, engagement, ROI) and using tools like Tribe Dynamics, CreatorIQ, or Launchmetrics
Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt well to change and multi-task
Smart people skills, fast worker, creative, strategic and very reactive
Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective content planning and strategy to meet the business objectives
Confident in presenting to clients and the internal team
Strong attention to detail with basic knowledge and awareness on budget and event management
Understanding of CGC culture and overall business goals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Is a change-champion and pioneers new ideas and approaches and ability to demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in approaching new and innovative ways of execution
Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity and activity within the competitive beauty landscape

Strong team player and collaborates easily with others, willing to help and learn from others and shares relevant information with the team
