Sr. Registration Manager: Non-profit
Opus Agency is a future-forward full-service global event agency, and they are seeking a Sr. Registration Manager to oversee the registration process for high-level attendees. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure excellent service and execution throughout the planning process.

Responsibilities
Responsible for effective and timely communication between internal team, clients, and partner organizations
Able to provide critical, constructive feedback to colleagues
Able to lead client meetings un-supervised, advising clients on major decisions regarding each event
Flexibility with work and travel timelines based on project needs in a high paced environment
Must be able to be entrusted with sensitive data and maintain the utmost discretion and integrity to protect privacy and security
Must be detail oriented in project management and tracking tasks, as well as taking the initiative and being proactive
Illustrate an understanding of the variety of needs for a global attendee audience including succinct communication skills, international-used meeting terms, and ability to convey all event logistics with contacts who may have limited skills in the English language
Experience in Cvent registration platform preferred
Build and coordinate content, maintains functionality, and manages registration website timelines for multiple projects simultaneously
Recognizes the need for documentation improvement, takes ownership in actively improving said documents; strong participant in team and client meetings and regularly suggests and prepares topics for discussion
Fully understand and adhere to foundation policies and procedures
ONSITE: Can proactively pre-plan and manage the onsite execution of registration
ONSITE: Is adaptable and can quickly identify and work with changing priorities and needs for high-level attendees
ONSITE: Understands badge and security plans and can create new plans as needed
Ability to provide onsite logistical management for high-level profile individuals and events with limited pre-event planning involvement
Provide onsite event logistical management as required for events with attendance ranging from 5-50. Areas include pre-con with venue and vendors, transportation coordination, managing event setup and executing event, attendee and speaker needs
Regularly research and maintain a written resource of local and relevant event industry happenings, new venues, or offsite dinner locations for foundation events
Report to Opus manager and members of client event team on a regular basis to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions
Maintain clear communication with manager and/or client, regarding special problems or exceptions to policies and procedures
Effectively perform work assigned in a timely, customer-centric, and accurate manner
Treat all proprietary information as confidential
Represent the client’s stewardship and values in all tasks
Follow established policies and procedures for appearance, timeliness, and safety
Utilize internal system for reconciling event-related charges; responsible for allocation of all charges and liaising with internal analyst on departmental chargebacks and tracking
Ensure appropriate coverage during any times out of the office
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in a relevant role, depending on the type of work experience
Possesses the discretion and integrity necessary for handling confidential interactions with high-profile individuals
Proven experience in supporting high-touch individuals, projects, or events successfully

Microsoft Office suite program experience, especially Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Strong project management skills
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills and quantitative abilities
Display strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical capabilities
Ability to read, edit, customize, and manipulate data and reports
Portray professional presence through superior communication, presentation, promptness, and appearance
Preferred
Experience in high-level event registration, and non-profit experience is highly preferred
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year institution is preferred
Experience in Cvent registration platform preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams preferred
