Responsibilities
Support global laboratories with projects related to Laboratory Information Management Systems, with a primary focus on Thermo SampleManager
Interpret laboratory test methods to define calculations and formulas required for result generation
Build and maintain custom calculation fields within the Laboratory Information Management System
Support chromatographic data systems as a secondary responsibility
Draft clear documentation to guide laboratories on calculation usage and result reporting
Follow established calculation validation and quality system processes
Collaborate closely with the Quality Systems support team
Qualification
Required
Scientific background with experience working in an analytical laboratory environment
Hands-on experience with chromatography and laboratory test methods
Experience supporting laboratory quality systems or laboratory administration tools
Ability to interpret analytical methods and translate them into system-based calculations
Experience working with multi-site or cross-functional laboratory teams
Preferred
Experience using Thermo SampleManager Laboratory Information Management Systems
Working knowledge of chromatographic data systems such as Empower or Chromeleon
Experience supporting global or multi-stakeholder laboratory system initiatives
