They are seeking their first HR Director to build and optimize the firm’s HR function, transitioning from a founder-led model to a scalable department. Responsibilities

Lead the HR due diligence and post-merger integration (PMI) process for frequent acquisitions
Harmonize benefits, compensation structures, and payroll systems for newly acquired teams
Ensure a seamless cultural transition for new employees, maintaining the CXponent "GUIDE" values across a growing organization
Build a scalable recruiting engine to support rapid headcount growth
Develop an employer brand that positions CXponent as the premier destination for technology advisors
Implement rigorous "A Player" hiring standards to ensure we maintain high talent density
Design and implement a performance management framework rooted in our core values: GUIDE - Got Your Back, Understand the Goal, Iterate Relentlessly, Dig Deep, and Enjoy the Journey
Create clear career paths and development opportunities as the company scales
Act as a coach to leadership, ensuring a culture of radical candor and accountability
Manage all aspects of payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance
Audit and select benefit providers that are competitive for mid-sized technology firms
Ensure HR systems (HRIS) are integrated with business tools and provide real-time data for PE reporting
Partner with leadership to design an organizational structure and reporting lines that align with long-term strategy and rapid growth
Establish a clear job architecture, including career pathways, leveling standards, and role taxonomy to ensure cross-functional clarity

Required

5+ years of experience with a variety of roles within the HR function, especially recruitment
You have worked in a Private Equity-backed environment and understand the pace, reporting requirements, and focus on ROI
You are excited to be the 'first' and enjoy setting up processes from scratch rather than just maintaining them
You aren't afraid to run payroll on Monday and present an M&A integration strategy to the Executive Team on Tuesday
You are a self-starter who views HR as a 'seamless engine for business potential' rather than a back-office function
