Required

A minimum of two years consumer lending experience preferred

One year of experience in a sales environment

Must have or gain thorough knowledge of credit union's lending policies and procedures, products and services, laws and regulations

Excellent sales, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required

Strong organizational skills

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Fluent in MS Excel and Word

Become fully familiar with and clearly communicate underwriting philosophies, lending decisions (approved, denied or conditioned), approval stipulations, loan products and services, credit bureau reports and scores, credit histories, applicable Federal regulations, Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP), Credit Life and Disability insurance, loan and deposit rates, lending policies and procedures and automated underwriting process
