Senior Business Development Manager

TPG Capital LA is opening a new company named Newton Crypto–LA focused on innovative digital asset systems and services. The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business growth plans for the US market, driving partnerships and expanding the customer network.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market and business expansion strategy to establish Newton Crypto–LA's position in the local market
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate key strategic partnerships (including institutional clients, payment processors, fintech platforms, etc.) to expand the ecosystem
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation to transaction completion, ensuring quarterly and annual revenue targets are met
Work closely with the product and compliance teams to ensure customer needs are translated into product improvement recommendations, while ensuring all business activities comply with local U.S. laws and regulations
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide data-driven strategic advice to senior management
As the primary contact person, maintain key customer relationships, delve into customer needs, and improve customer satisfaction and retention rates
Create or update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for business expansion to optimize sales processes and the customer onboarding experience

Required

A proven track record of success in B2B sales, key account management, or strategic partnerships is required
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling confident communication with C-level executives
No specific industry experience is required, but a strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to the pace of a startup team is necessary
A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, with 25+ years of overall professional work experience, including at least 20 years in business development or sales management
Or An MBA or Master's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with at least 20 years of relevant business development or sales management experience

Preferred

Experience in Fintech, SaaS, or traditional financial services is preferred (not mandatory; we offer cryptocurrency training)
