Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of high-scale, technically complex S&T projects
Lead client engagement, serving as the primary liaison for schedule, budget, and scope
Oversee project financial performance, monitoring design fees and work plans via Deltek
Coordinate with Project Architects and consultants to ensure technical detailing aligns with lab planning requirements
Assist with proposal development, including fee estimation and scope definition
Execute quality assurance measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure design excellence
Qualification
Required
8+ years of architectural experience with at least 3 years specifically managing Science & Technology projects (Biotech, Pharma, or Research Labs)
Comprehensive understanding of lab planning, including the codes and guidelines that inform S&T facility design
Professional proficiency in Revit is required
Technical expertise in detailing, specification writing, and managing new construction and renovation for complex building types
Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available)
Ability to travel locally for site visits and 1–4 times per year for out-of-state project needs
Preferred
Professional architectural license is preferred but not required
Knowledge of cGMP, hazardous materials code analysis, or sustainable design is a significant plus
