Responsibilities

Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs using G-code or CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit, GibbsCAM)

Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines and machining centers

Select tools, machining strategies, and appropriate cutting parameters

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and GD&T specifications

Monitor machine operations, adjust offsets, and troubleshoot machining issues

Create setup sheets and support operators with clear work instructions

Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other inspection tools

Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards

Follow all safety regulations and contribute to a safe work environment

Required

Over 4+ years of CNC machining and programming experience

Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and shop math (including trigonometry)

Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit, etc.)

Experience with multi-axis machining centers; 5-axis or mill-turn experience is a plus

Ability to interpret technical documentation and troubleshoot machining issues

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
