Manager, Digital Platforms & Integration

Stago is a leading company in clinical diagnostics, and they are seeking a Manager for Digital Platforms & Integration to lead their national digital strategy. This role involves managing a team of Digital Solutions Architects, ensuring digital implementation excellence, and driving continuous improvement across digital processes.

Responsibilities

Serve as the top escalation authority for digital issues involving middleware, connectivity, st|hemE manager, Coag.One, LIS/LIMS integration, cybersecurity concerns, and complex digital failures
Oversee and guide DSEs in conducting root cause investigations and ensuring high-quality, timely resolution
Collaborate with Hotline, Quality, Global Digital Support, hemE Support, Marketing, and local field services (applications & engineering) to coordinate multi-disciplinary escalation pathways
Ensure escalations are documented, trended, and used for preventative improvements
Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Digital Solutions Engineers
Create a formal competency framework covering: Middleware mastery, Rule development, Product cybersecurity knowledge and support in customer conversations, Interface troubleshooting, Customer communication, Implementation excellence
Conduct structured coaching, shadowing, field audits, and skill assessments to strengthen team capability
Partner with Training to build digital teaching modules, upskilling pathways, and internal development programs
Define and maintain national standards for: Middleware installation workflows, Rule development templates, Digital SOPs, Troubleshooting guides, Cybersecurity documentation/response to cybersecurity questionnaires, Test plans, readiness assessments, and implementation templates
Drive consistency across regions and ensure that all digital processes align with Stago best practices
Continuously assess digital installation quality, identify performance gaps, and deploy improvement initiatives
Serve as the operational and strategic connector between Digital Solutions, Clinical Applications, Field Service, Sales, Marketing, Quality, Training, and the SNA CSIRT team for all topics related to Stago’s digital solutions
Support Sales during pre-sale evaluations and digital demonstrations as needed at a leadership level
Partner with the Training department to embed digital concepts across all customer-facing training programs
Ensure alignment with Global Digital teams regarding digital roadmaps, cybersecurity updates, and product evolution
Oversee DSE collaboration with the SNA CSIRT team to complete cybersecurity forms, architecture documents, and risk assessments
Ensure DSEs stay current on emerging cybersecurity standards, laboratory security best practices, and regulatory changes
Monitor adherence to cybersecurity and digital compliance requirements across all customer implementations
Participate in customer calls re: cybersecurity as it relates to product, implementation, and approvals to sell into the site(s)
Oversee collection and synthesis of nuanced customer feedback on: Middleware usability, Rule logic needs, UI/UX flow, Performance limitations, Automation opportunities
Provide strategic, consolidated insights to Product Management and Marketing to influence product roadmaps
Guide DSEs in leading national-level pilots, beta programs, and new digital platform deployments
Maintain national ownership of digital documentation, including: Installation manuals, Rule libraries, Version notes, Troubleshooting frameworks, Escalation pathways
Ensure DSEs develop and maintain digital playbooks that scale knowledge across the organization
Communicate trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership through structured reporting
Responsible to build a culture of continuous improvement within the Digital Solutions Team
Responds to internal and external customer inquiries as needed
Performs all other duties/projects as assigned by management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or related field
7+ years of experience in clinical diagnostics, IVD middleware support, LIS/LIMS integration, digital support, or digital workflow design
3+ years in a leadership, team lead, coaching, or escalation-management capacity
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated expertise with network architecture, server configuration, HL7/ASTM, virtualization, database connectivity, and middleware platforms
Current Driver's License and Passport
Travel could be as high as 60% requiring some overnight stays and the need to travel by air or drive as required. International travel may occasionally be required

Preferred

Experience with Stago digital products, Coag.One/st|hemE manage, LIS rule engines, or other IVD digital platforms
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, hospital IT security policies, and risk assessments
Experience collaborating with global product development or digital engineering teams
