As a Platform Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation to enable faster and more reliable software delivery for Release Management and Application Development teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code for provisioning, configuring and securing cloud and on-prime infrastructure (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation)

Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, deployment, compliance and release workflows

Integrate security and compliance checks (SAST, DAST, SBOM, open-source license scanning, secrets management) into automated workflows

Collaborate with Application Development and Release Management to deliver standardized, self-service developer platforms that reduce manual handoffs

Establish and promote best practices in DevOps and ITSM, ensuring alignment with business and security goals

Monitor platforms with observability tools to ensure reliability and proactive detection of issues

Support containerized and cloud-native workloads using Kubernetes, Docker and serverless technologies

Maintain 'Documentation as Code' for repeatable infrastructure and platform processes

Advocate for tooling, automation, and best practices that improve developer experience and platform efficiency

Required

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) across IaaS and PaaS models

Strong knowledge or IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation (Pulumi is a plus)

Hands-on experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in production

Strong understanding or networking, Linux administration and security practices

Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language including: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Go

Experience with observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)

Strong collaboration skills to work across Architecture, Development, QA, Release and Ops teams

Preferred

Experience with Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code automation

Knowledge of policy as code (Open Policy Agent, HashiCorp Sentinel)

Prior experience building or contributing to Platform Engineering/Internal Developer Platforms

Background in compliance-driven industries (finance, healthcare, SaaS) with audits and governance requirements

Familiarity with modern DevSecsOps practices and embedding controls into pipelines
