Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers and technical staff
Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture
Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and company goals
Oversee the design and development of equipment, tools, and processes for dip molding and dip coating
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to meet project objectives
Provide technical guidance and solutions to address complex engineering challenges
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation
Evaluate and recommend new materials, methods, and technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities
Lead the development and implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing techniques, with a strong focus on material handling automation and robotics
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and senior management
Present technical findings, project updates, and recommendations to key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proficiency in SolidWorks including PDM Vault and Simulation experience
Expertise in dip molding and dip coating processes is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards
Demonstrated experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
