Responsibilities
Generate efficient CNC code in Mastercam 2026 for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and turning, vertical and horizontal platforms
Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine the optimal tooling, methods, and end-to-end manufacturing process
Design fixtures and workholding to safely and accurately process complex parts
Create setup sheets, process documentation, and tooling lists to guide operations
Perform and support setups, operate equipment as needed, and make minor adjustments to achieve close tolerances
Provide technical leadership on large projects moving through the shop
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of aerospace manufacturing experience
Mastercam 2026 proficiency required, with strong solids/solid modeling programming experience
Hands-on capability in core processes: turning and milling
Comfort machining challenging alloys, including Inconel and titanium
Working knowledge of special processes (heat treat, plating, and non-destructive testing)
Fluency in GD&T; able to interpret and apply to manufacturing plans
CAD proficiency; SolidWorks experience is a plus
Strong communication skills, adaptability to change, and a team-first mindset—willing to help in other areas when needed
