Responsibilities

Collaborate with other teams to understand data needs and context; connect insights to broader business goals

Monitor and ensure data accuracy

Maintain and enforce business rules

Resolve data issues and discrepancies as they arise

Create and maintain dashboards, metrics, and data quality reports

Proactively flag anomalies or trends that may indicate business risks or opportunities

Translate data into actionable insights to support both business and tech teams

Evaluate the impact of poor-quality data and help drive improvements

Handle day-to-day data administration (e.g. creating accounts, inputting data into systems)

Document data processes through process maps and job aids

Take ownership of tasks and follow through with minimal supervision

Look for ways to improve workflows, reporting processes, and data usability

Present data in clear, compelling formats for technical and non-technical audiences

Ask thoughtful questions and connect findings back to business needs

Required

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (functions, lookups, pivot tables – intermediate level minimum)

Understanding of basic data analysis concepts

Ability to extract, clean, and visualize data

Strong attention to detail and a curious, problem-solving mindset

Effective communicator, comfortable working across teams

Prior internship or work experience in a data or analytics-related role

Preferred

Basic SQL for querying and manipulating data

Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

Exposure to data visualization best practices or data quality initiatives
