Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel

Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of location policies to help to maintain an orderly environment

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related needs as they arise

Qualification

Required

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
